Ashley & Tyler

What a beautiful love story these two share. We met on a semi-warm day, Ashley and I were high school athletes together. Tyler and Ashley’s story is unique because they have literally always been within just a few miles from each other yet never putting the puzzle pieces together. One day it hit and just as they were concerend with their status their grandmother confirmed the attactration. It’s so sweet to see how God uses family members to unite indivuiuals in love.
Ashley lived in France for some time so the couple arrived with adorable props to enhance and reflect their passion for this culture. I’m humbled that I was allowed to capture moments for them. Enjoy
This picture is extra adorable because Tyler is looking at his bride. Melt my heart away! He is the definition of a gentlemen.
Ashley and Tyler thank you again for your patience, it took a bit longer than normal to post.Right before we left Tyler (brillant tech man) asked me to look into my website; “I think you have a virus.” Without Tyler’s heads up I’d be completely left in the dark. Thank you for your help and your patience you guys!!

So often the pain is left out of the story.
Pain is not pretty.
It often turns the audiences stomach.
It is not so unfamiliar or unknown.
But it is real.
Beautiful souls will constantly find themselves receiving pain and a call to endure.
Yearning for a better understanding of what sorrow, pain and trials.
What will they look like?
But more importantly how we are to position ourselves through this time.
As a young American female I often feel entitled and certain that things will turn out as I always dreamed, this is an ill thought.
What’s ill-er is my push when it doesn’t. I’m learning that it’s unhealthy, prideful, selfish and ethnocentric.
I’m grateful for the word of truth that I long to capture all wrong thoughts, all character flaws and all sin.
“Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Such a high priest meets our need-one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. ” Hebrews 7: 25-26
Sorrow, pain and trials make me uncomfortable. I’m grateful that they turn the mirror on me. I’m called to look at my heart, thoughts, mind, relationships, possessions and hopes with a real lens.

Thank you for pain God. In it I see your beautiful face and Lordship over my days.
